Several years ago I started attempting to take a minimum of two camping trips with my boys – one in the Spring and one in the Fall. I document these trips as they happen (when I remember to, anyway!) in a StoryMap Journel hosted on ArcGIS Online. I chose this format because not only does it allow me to tell the story, but I can also easily show a map of the location at which we camped.
This last weekend Levi and I went out in the woods for his 11th birthday. He asked if he could write the journal entry this time! The results are now live in the Story Map. (hint: scroll to the bottom to see Levi’s entry. You are, of course, welcome to read the whole thing as well.)
